BRIEF HISTORY

** Sri Thyagaraja sangeetha Sabha Bhavanam was inaugurated by Dr Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna on 25-12-1985.
** Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha (Regd) was initiated in 1980 by Sri ARK Haranath Baba,Late Sri JVS Prakash Rao, and Dr Sista Seshagiri Rao.
** For the last 39 years several performances were given by eminent artists like Dr Mangalampalli Bala Muralikrishna ,Padmsri Emani Sankra Sastry,Sri Chittibabu,Sri Kadiri Gopalnadh ,Mondolin U.Srinivas,Sri M.S. Rama Rao etc.
** The Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Trust (Regd) and the music lovers of Ramachandrapuram has decided to replace the old dialapidated structure with a new world class facilities for the benefit of Music,Cultural and Heritage lovers with an estimate cost of 200 lakhs.

OBJECT

Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Trust is involved in the noble task of upholding the Hindu Heritage and to preserve,propagate and promote Hindu Sanathana Dharma through a series of activities and programmes.

SALIENT FEATURES OF THE SABHA

** A World Class Auditorium with 300 seating capacity for performing Arts and Cultural Events.
** A Hall for Social, Cultural and Religious activities which can accommodate 200 people at a time.
** A Hall for pravachana and a learning centre of Vedic studies with necessary residential accommodation for the students and scholars is planned.
** Administrative Space is provided for functioning of Archaka Maha Sabha of the East Godavari District and the Trust Board.
** Kanchi Kamakshi Ammavari Temple is planned on the north side of the Music Auditorium with a residential accommodation for Archaka.

AS you know that our Ramachandrapuram Town is endowed with popular music and heritage and “SRI THYAGARAJA SANGEETHA SABHA TRUST“ is one of the institutes endeavouring to promote the music for about 39 years.Now Our Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha building is under construction for the good ambience to enthuse music lovers and the building is planned with several amenities under aegis of magnanimous persons Dr Sista Ammanna Panthulu, Sri P.N. Murthy and the famous architect Sri B.S. Murthy who are showing keen interest to make it pride of our RAMACHANRAPURAM TOWN.
It is well known fact that any grandiose mission with vision can only be possible by the active cooperation of many like minded people and we earnestly request your contribution to help the renovation of building for which we will highly be thankful and remember for ever your encouraging gesture of helping hand.
