** Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Trust is involved in the task of upholding the Hindu heritage and to preserve,propagate and promote Hindu Sanathana Dharma through a series of activities and programmes.
** To strive for the promotion of classical music in the state and encourage vocal and instrumental music in classical and light as well.
** To conduct classical music concerts every month by inviting senior artists and Amateur artists and honour them.
** To conduct seminars and Symposiums in music inviting experts in the field of classical music all over the state of Andhra Pradesh.
** To perform all the functions those are necessary for the development of classical music.
** To provide a stage for local artists and young budding musicians to NURTURE OUR CULTURE.

In the year the then Municipal Chairperson Sri S.R.K. Raja Gopala Narasa Raju and the council members were kind enough to allocate this site for this sabha and foundation stone was laid for the building on 25-12-1985 by the great musician Dr.Mangalampalli Bala Murali Krishna.Local eminent Dr.Sista Seshagiri Rao ,Sri Adduri Padmanabha Raju Industrialist and several donors extended stout hearted support in constructing this building and naming this area as “THYAGARAJA NAGAR” after sabha is a mile stone in the history of this sabha .A Music school under the name “THYAGARAJA VIDYA PEETHAM”was also started affiliated to this sabha to impart all this music learners.

We had the proud privilege of felicitating eminent artists like Dr Mangalampalli Bala Murali Krishna,Dr Emani Sankara Sastry,Sri Nedunuri Krishna Murthy,Sri Chittibabu,Sri Kadiri Gopalanadh,Sri Mandolin Srinivas ,Sri M.S. Rama Rao, Sri D.K.Jayaraman and Kum Srirangam Gopalaratnam etc.It has organised an open broadcasting programme of Sri T.N.Krishnan,Principal of Music College Madras with the courtesy of the AIR Vijayawada which gained great applause of the public.

With the benevolent donations of people in and around of Ramachandrapuram Classical,light musical concerts used to be arranged during Ganesh Chaturdhi,Dasara and Pongal to uphold our cultural heritage.

Every year on “PUSHYA BAHULA PANCHAMI DAY” We have been conducting Sri Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival and during the celebrations music competitions in instrumental and vocal for the budding artists are being arranged and prizes distributed to the talented winners and Runners up.
However there was a slight hindrance to all the sabha activities as this building got damaged due to Cyclone in 1996.At this time again Dr Sista Seshagiri Rao .Sri Adduri Padmanabha Raju and several other donors came forward to repair the building which led to restoration of all programmes. But after some years the walls of the sabha bhavanam cracked and dilapidated and it became very difficult to continue the activities.To better the present day morbid type of material and stressful life and to instill a sense of healthy outlook, all the music lovers and elite of town met and resolved to request the then M.L.A .Sri Thota Trimurthulu and he immediately responded by sanctioning 25.00 lakhs to this sabha from Youth Advancement & Culture Department and the foundation stone laid on 01-07-2018 at 11.58 AM.

Renowned South Indian architect Sri B.S.Murthy Garu Chennai and also native of our town Ramachandrapuram was kind enough to design the world class auditorium with an estimated cost of 200 lakhs with all amenities in a specially prestigious manner.

The construction work is in progress with an unstinted cooperation of Dr Sista Seshagiri Rao Garu,Dr Sista Ammanna Panthulu Garu,Sri P.N. Murthy Garu ,Chairmen Sri Pidaparthy Poornayya Vijnana Trust Chennai,Sri Buddhavarapu Sundara Krishna Rao Garu,Sri Buddhavarapu Bhaskara Rao Garu,Sri Buddhavarapu Subba Rao Garu,Sri Buddhavarapu Satyanarayana Murthy Garu Managing Committee Members of Sri Buddhavarapu Mahadevudu Mangayamma Sanathana Dharma Trust Bangalore.
