Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha (Regd No: 338/1980) was founded and established in Ramachandrapuram in the year 1980 by the then junior Lecturer in Maths and Mridangam Artist Sri A.R.K.Haranadh Babu as Secretary, Sri J.V.S Prakash Rao as President ,Sri Gadepalli Gopala Krishna Vice-President,Sri Prayaga Narasimha Murthy, Joint Secretary,Sri P.V.K Bhimeswara Rao Treasurer and Sri Nedunuri Venkateswara Rao.Sri Ch Visweswara Rao,Sri P,Surya Narayana Prasad,Sri D,V, Ramana,Sri Pulugurtha Rama Rao, Sri V.S.R. Anjaneyulu,Sri T.V. Subbaraya Sastry,Sri Dwibhasyam Nagesh Babu as Executive Committee Members.
Our Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha was started with the ideal motto of promoting classical music and entertaining the music lovers in and around of Ramachandrapuram and it has accommodated so many renowned musicians and contributed to the improvement of cultural heritage of Ramachandrapuram.
